HVAC Technician – Job Description Position: HVAC Technician Department: Maintenance / Technical Services Industry: HVAC / MEP / Building Maintenance Job Responsibilities: - Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and air-conditioning systems. - Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of AC units and HVAC equipment. - Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems. - Handle split AC, package units, central AC, VRF/VRV, and other cooling systems. - Check refrigerant levels, compressors, motors, thermostats, filters, and ductwork. - Perform refrigerant charging, recovery, and leak detection. - Read and understand HVAC drawings and technical specifications. - Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and according to company standards. - Maintain service records and report equipment issues to the supervisor. - Respond to breakdowns and emergency maintenance requirements. Requirements: - ITI/Diploma/Technical qualification in HVAC, Refrigeration, or a related field. - Minimum 2–5 years of relevant HVAC experience. - Experience in building maintenance, MEP, facilities management, or construction is preferred. - Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Qatar/GCC experience is an advantage.
